Job Details

Our client is a specialist in the electrification of powertrain & propulsion systems for future mobility vehicles. They specialise in 3-in-1 systems for electric vehicles (motors, Inverters, batteries). Their electrified power units are used across a wide range of vehicle types including; automotive, aerospace, construction/agriculture equipment & marine.
You must have a technical background in electrified powertrain/propulsion technology (motors, inverters, DC/DC Converters, battery systems) and have successfully managed Senior Managers, Team Leaders & Technical Specialists.

As Engineering Director, you will be responsible for:
• Responsible for defining the strategic roadmap for the electrified power division.
• Responsible for establishing the technology product roadmap.
• Leading the key management/leadership individuals within the division including; Managers, Leaders & Technical Specialists.
• Collaborating with the business development function to establish a desired network of customers.
• Reporting to the board regarding P&L – establishing targets and milestones for profits.
• Leading major projects/programs within the company including extensive customer facing involvement.
• Controlling the output of quality for the division.
• Supporting the training/development of the management team.
