The company is a global automotive Tier 1 supplier who are looking for skilled Motor Design Engineers of various seniority levels to expand their team. Their focus is the design, development and manufacture of hybrid and electric vehicles.
As an Electromagnetic Motor Design Engineer, you will be able to:
• Design motors for electric vehicles using 2D and 3D electromagnetic design softwares.
• Support/carry out thermal, structural & NVH analysis on motors.
• Assist in leading motor design and advancement projects.
• Take a project from concept through to prototype stage and understand how to get a motor to hardware.
As a Principal Electromagnetic Motor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the above but also responsible for:
• Being the technical leader of Engineers within the team, imparting your wisdom on junior/less experienced engineers.
• Leading project discussions and answering technical questions with OEMs across all types of electric vehicle sectors.
• Supporting business development/improvement.
As a Chief Electromagnetic Motor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the above but also responsible for:
• Leading the largest projects in the company.
• Developing all experienced Engineers within the team.
