The company is an award-winning, international engineering consultancy, and they are looking for talented Mechanical Design Engineers to join their team. They are growing at a rapid rate year on year and offer great opportunities for progression which are facilitated by training.
They specialise in the design, development, and control of a substantial range of electric vehicles, from automotive, to commercial, eVTOL and aerospace.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
• Have experience in 3D CAD design using one of the following: Catia, Solidworks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD.
• Experience with mechanical analysis such as: NVH, CFD or FEA.
• Have solid, fundamental mechanical engineering knowledge, first principles design experience, good communication and the drive to succeed and progress.
• Have customer facing/consulting experience.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have experience in the above but also be responsible for:
• The 3D CAD design, development, and analysis of gears/transmissions (CFD, FEA, NVH).
• Leading projects directly with major customers.
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers within the team.
