Our client is a fast growing, award-winning engineering consultancy, and they are looking for experienced Power Electronics Engineers at different experience levels to join their fast growing electrified powertrain & propulsion division.
They specialise in the design, development, testing & prototype of power electronics for electric vehicle application including; power inverter, DC/DC converter, on-board charger and battery systems for all types of electric vehicles. They offer the unique opportunity to diversify your experience across all land, air and sea type vehicles within electrification.
As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will:
• Have experience in circuit design, component selection, testing, and the design of digital and mixed signal control and interface circuits.
• Be responsible for the design and development of power electronics, (the likes of inverters, on-board chargers and converters), through to hardware for manufacture.
• Be managing hardware/software changes and delivering projects effectively whilst meeting exceptional standards in a timely manner.
• Be capable of leading your own projects directly with customers.
As a Principal Power Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the above but also responsible for:
• Mentoring others and managing large projects yourself.
• Leading discussions with customers and getting involved with proposals and business development discussions.
A Technical Specialist will be responsible for the above but also responsible for:
• Providing technical solutions to customer questions.
• Helping to identify new technical capabilities for the division and expand the customer base as a result.
