Our client is a technology leader in the Tier One automotive market. Their focus is on the advancement of automotive, electrified powertrain and driveline systems, and they are looking for a skilled Motor Controls Engineers to join their electrified powertrain division.
As a Motor Controls Engineer, you must have experience in controls for electric machines, as you will be responsible for:
• Designing and developing control software for complex systems within automotive.
• Good software programming ability (MATLAB, Simulink, embedded coder)
• Good control engineering knowledge, ideally in electric motors, powertrain or similar.
• Leading small to medium sized projects and interfacing with customers directly.
As a Lead Motor Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the above but also responsible for:
• Mentoring other engineers within the team and leading major projects.
• Leading discussions with OEMs, supporting technical meetings and leading others within the project.
