Our client is an award-winning engineering consultancy, and they are looking for gifted Power Electronics Design Engineers focused on Inverters, at Senior, Principal, and Technical Specialist levels to join their design team.

They specialise in the design, development and testing of power inverters for EV applications, from automotive and commercial vehicles to marine and electric aerospace propulsion. They are leading the market to a better, more sustainable future.

The company offer great opportunities for progression, they have received significant investment and secured multiple long term projects so will be going through significant growth in the coming years.

This position offers the unique opportunity to not only lead major projects as a key technical specialist on Power Inverters whilst consulting with global customers but you will also be an integral part of the growth of the Power Electronics team.

As a Power Electronics Engineer, you must have experience in:
• The design and development of power inverters for electric vehicle applications.
• Design & development of power electronics, printed circuit boards and has component selection experience.
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or similar.
• Electric machine control theory desirable but not essential.
• Leading projects or leading interactions with customers directly.
• Experience mentoring or leading other engineers would be useful for a Lead position or higher.
