Our client is an award-winning, eVTOL / electrified aircraft manufacturer based in the Bay Area. The business has recently won significant funding and is now looking to bring in talented Software Engineers with experience in Battery Management Systems or Energy Storage.
As a Software Engineer for Battery Management Systems, you must have experience in:
• Experience/working knowledge of hardware in the loop (HiL), Software in the loop (SiL).
• Experienced with C++ or C# ideal, minimum experience in C.
• Experience with software standards relevant to the industry.
• Previous experience in battery management systems or energy storage systems relevant to mobility.
• Working knowledge / experience with communication standards and protocols.
As a Software Engineer for Battery Management Systems, you will be responsible for:
• Software development for battery management systems, controls and microcontrollers for electrified aircraft.
• Embedded software development.
• Supporting other disciplines within hardware, test, controls & systems.
• Creation of supporting documents for software process to industry safety standards.
